Vegas turns the tables, winning three straight to eliminate Minnesota and keep the Cup dream alive.
The Vegas Golden Knights completed their comeback, defeating the Minnesota Wild 3–2 in Game 6 to clinch the series 4–2 and advance to the second round of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Jack Eichel and Mark Stone each contributed a goal and an assist, while Shea Theodore opened the scoring with a power-play goal. Goaltender Adin Hill made 29 saves to secure the victory for Vegas .
Minnesota’s Ryan Hartman scored both goals for the Wild, including a late wraparound attempt, but it wasn’t enough to extend the series. The Wild have now lost nine consecutive playoff series, the third-longest streak in NHL history .
With this win, the Golden Knights advance to face the Edmonton Oilers in the Western Conference semifinals.
