Indiana torches Cleveland in Game 4, takes a 3-1 series lead and the Cavs’ confidence with them.
Cleveland fans, you might want to look away. Or at least grab a stress ball.
The Indiana Pacers didn’t just beat the Cavaliers on Sunday night — they put on a fast-break Broadway show and left the Cavs looking like background dancers. Final score? 129–109. And honestly, it felt even worse than that.
Tyrese Haliburton showed up like he was auditioning for the next Space Jam sequel, dishing out dimes, draining threes, and generally turning the Cavs’ defense into a collection of confused traffic cones. If swagger had a stat line, he’d be MVP.
Cleveland, meanwhile, brought some decent energy… for about 8 minutes. Then they remembered defense was optional and let Indiana set up a layup line at the rim. Darius Garland tried to spark something, but it’s hard to ignite a flame when the whole team’s soaked in “meh.”
The Pacers led by 20 at halftime and never looked back. Somewhere, Donovan Mitchell was probably lighting sage or googling “how to clone yourself.” Unfortunately, the Cavs’ supporting cast showed up with a big box of “Oops, All Turnovers.”
Indiana fans were loving every second — their team played with pace, passion, and the kind of chaotic confidence that says “Yeah, we do think we’re the better team.”
Now, the Pacers are up 3-1 in the series, one win away from sending Cleveland home for a summer of “what ifs” and “we’ll get ‘em next year.”
Game 5? Let’s just say the Cavs better bring more than good intentions. The Pacers have the momentum, the mojo, and possibly a flamethrower.
