Brunson’s Broadway Banger: Knicks Go Up 3-1, Celtics Stuck in Matinee Mode

The Garden was loud, the Celtics were lost, and Jalen Brunson played like he owned real estate in Boston’s head.

If you heard loud stomping in Manhattan on Monday night, don’t worry — it was just the Knicks taking another step toward the Eastern Conference Finals while the Celtics fumbled around like they forgot how to dribble under pressure.

Final score: Knicks 121, Celtics 113. Series? 3-1 in favor of the Mecca.

Jalen Brunson once again reminded everyone that he’s not just “pretty good” — he’s the engine, the gas, and the driver of this Knicks squad. The man poured in points like it was Happy Hour at MSG, and the Celtics defense looked like it was sponsored by Swiss cheese.

Boston started strong, then promptly got confused and misplaced the concept of “guarding the perimeter.” Tatum and Brown combined for some nice stats, but when the Garden got rowdy in the 4th quarter, it was Knicks culture that took over — gritty, loud, and wildly confident.

Josh Hart was flying around like he just drank five Red Bulls, Isaiah Hartenstein channeled his inner Rodman, and Julius Randle did just enough yelling and rebounding to keep the Celtics in their feelings.

Meanwhile, Boston’s bench looked like a sleepover where nobody wanted to be the first one to fall asleep (or take a shot).

Now the Knicks are up 3-1, and Boston’s going home wondering if they packed enough emotional support for Game 5. Because if they don’t regroup fast, this Broadway show might end in tragedy — and the Knicks will be the ones taking a bow.
